These days, farmers in Na Tong village, Tam Thai commune (Tuong Duong district) are in the midst of harvesting chili peppers. For several years now, chili peppers have provided a stable source of income for the people. The peppers here are prolific, drought-resistant, and less susceptible to pests and diseases, making them suitable for the local soil conditions. As a result, many households in Na Tong village have switched to growing chili peppers on their fertile land.

With prices ranging from 15,000 to 17,000 VND per kilogram, farmers in Na Tong village are extremely happy because everything they produce is sold out. Ms. Vi Thi Thang said: “We have been growing chili peppers for several years. The bird's eye chili variety is very suitable for the soil and climate conditions, so it produces abundant fruit and is popular with local people and those in neighboring districts like Ky Son and Con Cuong, providing our family with a source of income.”

Thanks to this, our family has a stable income and ensures our daily food needs are met, and our living standards are constantly improving.”
