Tan Ky and Yen Thanh districts won first prize in the Book Promotion and Introduction Contest with the theme 'Words of President Ho Chi Minh - Words of the Nation'.
On the morning of August 20th, in Vinh City, the Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports held the closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the 2024 Nghe An Provincial Book Promotion and Introduction Contest with the theme "Words of President Ho Chi Minh - Words of the Nation".
Attending the closing ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Vo Van Dung - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; leaders of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc; and representatives of the specialized departments and divisions of the Department of Culture and Sports.

In his concluding remarks evaluating the competition, Mr. Nguyen Vinh Quang, Director of the Provincial Library and Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, stated: The quality of the entries this time was quite consistent, avoiding the situation of generic and broad praise.

Most of the entries adhered closely to the rules and themes set by the Organizing Committee. The content of the works evoked pride and love for the homeland and country. Through the image of Uncle Ho, they praised the great example of the outstanding leader Ho Chi Minh. Each work explored different aspects with deep respect, admiration, and overflowing emotion about the subject of Uncle Ho, thereby igniting tradition, patriotism, and the spirit of building the homeland for present and future generations.
The entries were quite diverse in style and genre. Most submissions showcased the historical, geographical, economic, and cultural characteristics of the locality; highlighting the activities of the district library and the participating teams.

The participating teams demonstrated their ability to share and introduce books through contemporary theatrical performances, creating grand and touching presentations that resonated deeply with the audience, which is highly commendable. Many entries utilized elements of folk songs and traditional melodies, with poetic lyrics that truly moved the audience.
The teams showed great care and investment from the moment they registered, developed their scripts, organized rehearsals, to their stage performances and book presentations, all driven by a passion to inspire and share valuable knowledge with a wide audience.

As a result of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded first prize to the Tan Ky and Yen Thanh teams; second prize to the Vinh City, Thai Hoa town, Quy Hop district, and Anh Son district teams; and third prize to the Nam Dan, Do Luong, Con Cuong, and Thanh Chuong teams. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded two special prizes and several performance prizes.
