Despite being equipped with some new technological features, the 2017 Hyundai Sonata in the US market is still $150 cheaper than the previous version, starting at $21,600.

Specifically, in the US market, the Hyundai Sonata is equipped with additional features such as automatic emergency braking, automatic headlights, intelligent cruise control, lane departure warning, parking assist system, and blind spot monitoring system.

The vehicle also features a vehicle stability management system, including electronic stability control and traction control, 7 airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, ABS & EBD, cruise control, tire pressure monitoring, Bluetooth connectivity, and more.

Additionally, customers have the option to choose from features such as: a hands-free calling system, an 8-inch display supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, an electronic parking brake, and the Blue Link system.

The base model is powered by a 2.4-liter engine producing 185 horsepower and 241 Nm of torque, while the top-of-the-line model features a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine delivering 245 horsepower and 352 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
