The Hyundai Accent first debuted internationally in 1994. In Vietnam, the 5th generation, launched in 2018, created a major turning point in sales thanks to its comprehensive redesign. On May 30, 2024, the completely new 6th generation was officially launched, solidifying its leading position in the B-segment sedan market with increased dimensions and superior technology.

The 2026 Hyundai Accent boasts dimensions of 4,535 x 1,765 x 1,485 mm (length x width x height), with a wheelbase of 2,760 mm. These figures make the Accent one of the most spacious sedans in the B-segment today.

The front of the car makes a strong impression with its LED daytime running lights extending across the entire width. The body is sculpted with many sharp embossed lines, combined with unique 16-inch 5-spoke wheels. The rear stands out with its modern inverted L-shaped LED taillights and sporty diffuser.

Interior and technological amenities

The cabin of the all-new Hyundai Accent is inspired by the premium Elantra, with a driver-oriented dashboard. At the center of the dashboard is an 8-inch touchscreen supporting wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and integrated with exclusive maps for the Vietnamese market.

The car is equipped with a range of amenities such as automatic climate control, Type-C charging ports, Qi wireless charging, remote start, and a smart power tailgate. Notably, higher-end versions also feature a high-quality 6-speaker sound system and paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

The 2026 Hyundai Accent uses a 1.5L naturally aspirated Smartstream G petrol engine, producing 115 horsepower and 144 Nm of torque. It comes with a choice of a 6-speed manual transmission or an iVT continuously variable transmission, front-wheel drive, offering smooth operation and fuel efficiency.

In terms of safety, in addition to standard features such as ABS, EBD, BA, and 6 airbags, the Accent also boasts the Hyundai SmartSense package with advanced features: Lane-Keeping Assist (LFA & LKA), Forward Collision Avoidance Warning (FCA), Blind Spot Monitoring (BCA), and Intelligent High Beam (AHB).
