The 2019 Hyundai SantaFe was launched in March 2018.
Recently, Hyundai revealed information and design details of the all-new 2019 SantaFe crossover, set to launch this coming March.
The South Korean automaker Hyundai has announced that the fourth generation of its mid-size crossover SantaFe will officially debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show in March.
First launched in 2001, the Santa Fe was a model that Hyundai targeted at the Sport-Ute (sport utility vehicle) market. This model subsequently underwent upgrades in 2007 and 2013.
Now, six years after its introduction at the 2012 New York Auto Show alongside Hyundai's smaller models, the Kona and Tucson, the fourth generation Santa Fe has officially revealed its first images. This model is considered to have many improvements since its third generation, targeting customers who appreciate a sporty yet practical vehicle.

Based on the leaked images, it can be inferred that the 2019 Santa Fe will feature design elements similar to recent models such as the Kona, Sonata, and Veloster, with connecting lines between the front and rear of the vehicle creating a distinctive personality.
Based on the distance between the wheels and the C-pillar, the SantaFe is predicted to only have a 3-row seating version with a long wheelbase, unlike the 5-seat SantaFe Sport model. However, it is very possible that Hyundai will change its plans for this new model at the last minute.
According to several sources, the new generation Hyundai SantaFe will be equipped with Smart Sense active safety technology. This technology will include a rear seat passenger alert feature, a first in the automotive world. The system's function is to detect whether there are passengers in the rear seats and notify the driver before they leave the vehicle.
In addition, Smart Sense technology includes a cross-traffic collision warning system when reversing, enhanced with automatic braking. To avoid collisions due to limited visibility when reversing out of tight spaces, the system will warn the driver and automatically apply the brakes. Information regarding the engine of the new generation Hyundai SantaFe is not yet available.
