[Infographics]: What exceptions allow for the issuance of paper health insurance cards from June 1, 2025?

From June 1st, the Social Insurance agency will only issue paper health insurance cards to exceptional cases where individuals cannot install VssID or VneID, or do not possess a chip-embedded Citizen Identity Card. This regulation is part of Vietnam Social Insurance's digital transformation program, implementing directives from the Government and the Prime Minister on reducing administrative procedures, aiming to modernize processes and bring more practical benefits to health insurance participants.
