Dual screens with ideal dimensions
The iPhone 'Fold' will have two screens, including an inner 7.8-inch screen when fully extended and an outer 5.5-inch screen. This is a significant improvement over all current iPhones, which have screens ranging from 6.1 inches to a maximum of 6.9 inches.

According to 9to5mac, these figures are very close to those of Apple devices in the past. The internal screen is roughly the size of a 7.9-inch iPad mini, while the external screen will cater to users who love the iPhone mini – the discontinued 5.4-inch model.
Vertical folding design with no creases.
One of the biggest drawbacks of current foldable smartphones is the unsightly crease at the fold. Rumors suggest that Apple has created an internal display that is "crease-free," solving this persistent problem.

Eliminating the crease on the iPhone Fold is just one of the key aspects of the new "book-folding" design. Another point of interest is its thickness. Analyst Ming Chi Kuo suggests the iPhone Fold "will be 9-9.5 mm thick when folded and 4.5-4.8 mm thick when unfolded," significantly thinner than the upcoming iPhone 17 Air.
Four-lens camera system
The camera is one of the most important features of the iPhone. Rumors suggest that the iPhone Fold will have a total of four cameras, including two rear cameras, one front camera when folded, and one front camera when unfolded.

Both rear cameras have a 48MP resolution, but it's still unclear whether the second lens will be an ultra-wide-angle or telephoto lens. This year, Apple will be moving all iPhone 17 models to a 24MP front camera, so it's likely the iPhone Fold will also use a similar camera.
Back to Touch ID
Since the iPhone X was released in 2017, Apple's high-end iPhone line has used Face ID as its security method, replacing Touch ID found in previous generations. Although the iPhone Fold is expected to have a very high price, there are rumors that the device will use Touch ID for authentication.

Apple may be trying to avoid integrating two Face ID components – one for the outer screen, one for the inner screen – as this would both increase production costs and create internal space constraints.
Premium titanium frame
While Apple is expected to eliminate titanium from the iPhone 17 lineup, rumors suggest that the foldable iPhone will utilize some titanium components. Specifically, analyst Ming Chi Kuo predicts the hinge will combine stainless steel and titanium alloy, while the casing will be made of titanium alloy.

Positioned in the highest-end segment.
It's not hard to predict that a foldable iPhone will be one of Apple's most expensive mobile devices. Kuo estimates the retail price to be around $2,000-$2,500.

Leveraging its existing market position and massive user base, a foldable iPhone could generate significant interest despite its exorbitant price. If the leaked information is accurate, this would be a crucial turning point in iPhone development history, marking Apple's entry into the foldable smartphone market.
