Iran imposes sanctions on nine US businesses and individuals

The Iranian government has imposed sanctions on nine US businesses, organizations and individuals in retaliation for US sanctions targeting Iran's ballistic missile program.

Iran's Foreign Ministry published a list of sanctioned companies on the Internet on May 20.

With these sanctions, the Iranian government can seize assets and ban employees of those companies from leaving Iran.

All companies sanctioned by Iran declined to comment on the matter./
