The Islamic State has released a video showing them forcing a blond boy of about 10 years old to shoot dead a suspected spy.

The 15-minute video was posted by a media channel affiliated with the Islamic State (IS) on September 16. It recorded the scene of IS militants executing people called "spies" in the "Wilayat Ninawa" area, Iraq, according to Mirror.
The video shows a blond boy, no older than 10, dressed in camouflage and holding a gun. A militant, who appears to be Caucasian, then appears to “help” the boy shoot the prisoners in the back of the head. The boy, whose identity is not yet known, is likely of European descent.
IS regularly trumpets its “next generation of caliphate fighters”. A video emerged earlier this week showing young boys describing their dreams of “martyrdom”. The voiceover describes this as “the generation that will conquer Damascus, Baghdad, Jerusalem, Mecca, al-Median, Dabiq, Rome and Andalusia”.
IS recruits and kidnaps thousands of children, brainwashes them into becoming suicide bombers, knife-wielding or gun-wielding killers. The emergence of the so-called “Generation of Heroic Battles” by IS has experts concerned that more children will be forced into combat.
