Israel attacks Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon.
Israeli defense forces attacked infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah, a Hamas-backed force in southern Lebanon.
According to RIA Novosti, on October 11, amidst discussions on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli Defense Forces attacked Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon.
At 12:00 PM on October 10th, the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas came into effect.
"Some time ago, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked and destroyed Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon,"This is where Hezbollah used technical equipment to restore terrorist infrastructure in the area," the IDF's Telegram channel stated.
According to Al-Mayadeen, one person was killed in the raid and several others were injured.
The Lebanese government has repeatedly pointed out that its southern neighbor violates its sovereignty, despite a ceasefire agreement reached in November 2024.
Meanwhile, Israeli armed forces maintain a presence at five strategic points in southern Lebanon, including the northern part of the village of Ghajar. Beirut considers this an ongoing occupation and a violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701.
In response, the Israel Defense Forces claimed to be attacking Hezbollah's military infrastructure and its fighting leaders.
Israel has repeatedly stressed that it will continue its attacks to eliminate the threat posed by Hezbollah forces in the conflict.
