On March 4, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued an official statement confirming the start of "large-scale airstrikes targeting Iranian government targets in Tehran."

According to IDF figures, this is the tenth wave of attacks since the latest conflict erupted last Saturday. Earlier on the morning of March 4, the IDF said that overnight bombing raids had struck locations described as command centers of Iran's internal security forces and the Basij militia.

"They attacked very hard last night, it was a terrifying night," a resident in northern Tehran told CNN. "I don't know exactly where the attack was, but it felt like the explosions were right next to me."

The resident added that they are trying to leave the city and seek refuge in the mountains. "But we also don't know where the military assets are located, so it's very difficult to determine where it's really safe," the resident lamented about their dilemma.

Iranian state media also reported numerous explosions in various areas across the country on the morning of March 4, including a massive plume of black smoke rising near the strategically important city of Isfahan.

On the political front, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi directly criticized US President Donald Trump on March 4th for ordering the bombing of Iran "out of hatred."

In a social media post on X, Araghchi stressed: "When complex nuclear negotiations are treated like a real estate transaction, and when blatant lies obscure reality, then unrealistic expectations will never be met." "What is the consequence? It is using bombs and bullets to kill the negotiating table simply out of resentment," Araghchi added. "Trump has betrayed diplomacy and betrayed the very American voters who elected him," the Iranian Foreign Minister said.

Earlier, on March 3, Iran's Ministry of Defense stated that the country was ready for a protracted war against the US and Israel and that it had not yet used its most advanced weapons.

According to CNN and AFP.
