According to China Daily, Chinese billionaire Jack Ma will make his first appearance in a 20-minute film titled "The Art of Attack and Defense." Eight minutes of the film will be shown at Tmall Double 11 Night Carnival, a television program by Alibaba, China's leading e-commerce giant. In this film, pop diva Faye Wong collaborated with Jack Ma on the film's theme song.

Jack Ma is known to be a fan of martial arts. He is fascinated by the martial arts novels of Jin Yong and has practiced Tai Chi for over 30 years. He even uses the names of fictional characters from literary novels as nicknames for his employees.

The film features three leading choreographers from Hong Kong: Yuen Woo-ping, Sammo Hung (famous for Ip Man), and Ching Siu-tung. The cast also includes top action stars such as Jet Li, Donnie Yen, Wu Jing, and Tony Jaa (Thailand), as well as A-list actors like Huang Xiaoming, Tong Dawei, and Li Chen. In addition, retired boxer Zou Shiming and Mongolian sumo champion Asashoryu Akinori also appear in the film.

Jack Ma conceived the idea of ​​making the film in 2009 when he met Jet Li, a master of Chinese kung fu. Later, they co-founded a company to promote Tai Chi in 2011 and decided to make a film to fulfill their shared passion.

In the film, Jack Ma plays a Tai Chi master, while Jet Li plays a Buddhist monk. Speaking about the film and its influence on the Alibaba founder, a source close to Jack Ma revealed: "Jack Ma has a youthful heart. He loves art and culture. Martial arts have played a significant role in shaping who he is."

Jet Li revealed that Jack Ma spent 12 hours a day for 12 days filming the movie. During this time, the billionaire only requested one leave for Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto's visit to Alibaba's headquarters in September.
