Juventus consider swapping Dusan Vlahovic for Joshua Zirkzee
Juventus are considering a surprise player swap deal: sending striker Dusan Vlahovic in exchange for Joshua Zirkzee.

Joshua Zirkzee joined Manchester United from Bologna in the summer of 2024 for £36.5m. However, the Dutch striker has not shown the expected form and is considering a return to Serie A in the January transfer window.
Juventus' Dusan Vlahovic, who joined from Fiorentina in 2022 for £67m, is also unhappy at the club. With just 18 months left on his contract and negotiations over a new deal yet to come to fruition, Juventus do not want to lose the Serbian striker for free and are looking to capitalise on him in a lucrative deal.
Coach Thiago Motta, who worked with Zirkzee at Bologna, is now in charge of Juventus. He is said to be keen on reuniting with his former student and is pushing the Juventus board to make the deal happen.
In the 2024/25 season, 24-year-old striker Dusan Vlahovic scored 12 goals and provided 2 assists in 23 games in all competitions. He was once a target for Arsenal and Chelsea, which shows his appeal in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Joshua Zirkzee has only scored four goals this season, but his impressive performances for Bologna last season still make him a notable target.
The swap deal offers both clubs the chance to resolve their issues, but with interest from other big clubs such as Chelsea and Arsenal in Vlahovic, Juventus may consider other options before finalising the deal.
