Juventus are considering a swap deal involving Dusan Vlahovic and Joshua Zirkzee.
Juventus are considering a surprising player exchange deal: sending striker Dusan Vlahovic in exchange for Joshua Zirkzee.

Joshua Zirkzee joined Manchester United from Bologna in the summer of 2024 for a fee of £36.5 million. However, the Dutch striker has not lived up to expectations and is considering a return to Serie A during the January transfer window.
On Juventus' side, Dusan Vlahovic, who joined from Fiorentina in 2022 for £67 million, is also not entirely happy at the club. With only 18 months remaining on his contract and extension negotiations failing to materialize, Juventus do not want to lose the Serbian striker for free and are looking to leverage him in a profitable deal.
Coach Thiago Motta, who previously worked with Zirkzee at Bologna, is currently managing Juventus. He is reportedly very keen to reunite with his former pupil and is pushing the Juventus board to make the deal happen.
In the 2024/25 season, 24-year-old striker Dusan Vlahovic scored 12 goals and provided 2 assists in 23 appearances across all competitions. He was previously a target for Arsenal and Chelsea, which demonstrates his appeal in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Joshua Zirkzee has only scored 4 goals this season, but his impressive performances for Bologna last season still make him a noteworthy target.
This exchange deal offers both teams an opportunity to resolve their issues. However, with interest from other big clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal in Vlahovic, Juventus may consider other options before finalizing the transaction.
