(Baonghean.vn) - On July 28, the K-League All Stars team will be in Hanoi to prepare for a friendly match with U22 Vietnam at 8:00 p.m. on July 29 at My Dinh National Stadium. This is a series of matches for U22 Vietnam to test the squad, preparing for the upcoming 29th SEA Games.

Since early March, the Organizing Committee of Korean professional football tournaments has planned a friendly match between the K-League Classic stars and the Vietnam U22 team.

Accordingly, the team called K-League All-Stars consisting of 18 players will have a match with U22 Vietnam at 8:00 p.m. on July 29 at My Dinh Stadium. The Korean side said that all members from the coaching staff to the players who will visit and compete in our country are Korean. K League All-Stars, truly an expensive "kimchi" for the coaching staff, U22 players and Vietnamese audiences before the 29th SEA Games.

Expensive reagents

According to Yonhap news agency, leading the K-League All-Stars this time is Hwang Sun-hong, head coach of FC Seoul - the reigning champion of K-League Classic 2016.

This is one of the best coaches of K-League Classic. In the past, Mr. Hwang spent 14 years wearing the Korean national team jersey in the period 1988-2002. That said, the Korean side has seriously prepared for this tour in Vietnam.

It is known that Korean players play with strength, physical strength and speed, those who are present in Vietnam through the audience's vote. Among them, the most famous is Yang Dong-hyeon, a striker who is becoming very famous in Kim Chi. He is currently ranked 3rd in the list of goalscorers this season in the K-League, with 14 goals.

In addition, the Korean All-Stars team's attack line also has two other outstanding faces, Kim Shin-wool (Jeonbuk) and Lee Keun-ho - who played 77 matches for the Korean team, won the title of Best Asian Player in 2012 and is currently Xuan Truong's teammate at Gangwon FC.

The midfield of the U22 Vietnam team has midfielder Yeom Ki-hun. Although he is 34 years old, Yeom Ki-hun is the best playmaker in the history of the tournament.

Currently playing in Korea, Xuan Truong said: “The K-League All-Stars who are coming to Vietnam this time are all very excellent players. In the Gangwon team I am playing for, there are two players: defender Oh Bum Seok and striker Lee Geun Ho.

In addition, the Korean team also has 1m96 tall striker Kim Shin Wook, who plays for the K-League leader Jeonbuk, and the top scorer in the league, Yang Dong Hyun (Pohang Club). Another left midfielder is playing for the Korean national team. In short, it is a quality squad.

Test the defense

With the presence of K-League top scorer Yang Dong Hyun, top Korean strikers Kim Shin Wook, Hwang Il Soo, Lee Geun Ho, the U22 Vietnam defense and goalkeepers will have a tough 90 minutes. With strikers nearly 2m tall, with hammer kicks, playing without fear of collision, the "weak points" at the goalkeeper or center-back positions will be exposed.

Coming to Vietnam is not for tourism, so coach Hwang Sun-hong will ask his players to attack from many directions, pressing all over the field to force U22 Vietnam to return to their home field.

If in the Gangwon FC shirt, midfielder Xuan Truong struggled against tall Korean players, now it is the turn of Cong Phuong, Tuan Anh, Quang Hai and many other young Vietnamese players to experience this feeling.

Facing this “concrete block”, Vietnamese players must know how to move and resist the opponent’s pressure. If Vietnamese players stand firm against the K-League All-Stars and play with style, even if they do not win, or even lose, Vietnamese fans will still be satisfied.

Facing stars from a footballing background as superior as Korea, winning or losing is not the important issue. Our goal is still to train to conquer the upcoming 29th SEA Games gold medal!
