Upon spotting the authorities, Chá A Mua frantically resisted with a knife, injuring two police officers.

The Drug Crime Investigation Department of the Dien Bien Provincial Police, in coordination with the Anti-Drug Team of the Provincial Customs Department, successfully cracked case 916C, apprehending a suspect red-handed for illegally buying and selling narcotics.

Accordingly, at approximately 11:30 AM on September 15th, in the Huoi Chan 1 village area, Muong Pon commune, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien province, the joint forces caught Cha A Mua (born in 1979, residing in Huoi Chan 2 village, Muong Pon commune, Dien Bien district) red-handed engaging in the illegal buying and selling of narcotics.

The seized evidence included 3 blocks of heroin weighing approximately 1,080g and a sharp knife about 40cm long. Upon seeing the authorities, Chá A Mua frantically resisted with the knife, injuring two officers from the Drug Crime Investigation Department of the Provincial Police. However, with a resolute spirit in combating crime, the authorities managed to subdue and arrest the suspect.

The investigation into this case is currently ongoing and being expanded.
