Robber of 1.1 billion VND from Agribank prosecuted
Minh held fake mines and a pellet gun and asked the bank employee to fill the backpack he was carrying with money.
On February 4, the leader of the Criminal Police Department of Bac Giang Province Police announced that they had decided to prosecute Nguyen Duc Minh (35 years old) for robbery.

According to the police, at around 3:15 p.m. on January 26, Minh rode a motorbike alone, wearing a baseball cap, mask, gloves, and a backpack into the Dinh Ke transaction office, where there were four people.
When entering the room, Minh took out a piece of paper from his backpack that said "I have a bomb, a gun in my pocket, put money on it if you don't want to die" and gave it to the female cashier.
Minh took a rectangular package and placed it in front of her, raised a gun and asked her to open the safe and take 5 stacks of 200,000 VND bills and a stack of 100,000 VND bills, and asked her to put them in her backpack. Total 1.1 billion VND. After committing the crime, he put the gun in his backpack, went out, got on his motorbike and escaped.

20 hours after the incident, on January 27, police arrested Minh while he was watching the U23 final match at his lodgings.
Police searched Minh's residence and confiscated the motorbike used to commit the crime, 340 million VND hidden in the car, and 560 million VND buried in his mother-in-law's garden. To date, the authorities have collected nearly 1.1 billion VND, with Minh spending the remaining 20 million VND. The gun was recovered from the pond.
