According to the police, at approximately 3:15 PM on January 26th, Minh rode his motorbike alone, wearing a baseball cap, face mask, and gloves, and carrying a backpack, into the Dinh Ke branch office, where four people were present at the time.
Upon entering the room, Minh took a piece of paper from his backpack that read, "I have a bomb and a gun in my bag. Put the money on the table or you'll die," and handed it to the female cashier.
Minh placed a rectangular package in front of the woman, brandished a gun, and demanded that she open the safe and hand over five stacks of 200,000 VND banknotes and one stack of 100,000 VND banknotes, instructing her to put them in a backpack. The total was 1.1 billion VND. After committing the crime, he put the gun in his backpack, went outside, and escaped on a motorbike.
