The brutal killer of a pregnant woman was sentenced to death.

He went to the crab farm of Ms. Hien and her husband to borrow an oxygen blower but was refused. When asked to go outside, Le Chi Nguyen stabbed Ms. Hien many times, causing her death.

On August 16, the People's Court of Bac Lieu province opened the first instance criminal trial of the "Murder" case against defendant Le Chi Nguyen (34 years old, residing in Long Dien Dong commune, Dong Hai district, Bac Lieu province).

The victim was Ms. Nguyen Bich Hien (25 years old, more than 18 weeks pregnant). The jury sentenced the defendant to death.

According to the indictment, at about 4:00 p.m. on January 2, 2017, defendant Nguyen went to the crab breeding farm of Mr. Cao Huu Nghi (Ms. Hien's husband - residing in Long Dien commune, Dong Hai district, Bac Lieu province) to borrow an oxygen blower.

At that time, Mr. Nghi was not at home, so Ms. Hien asked Nguyen to call Mr. Nghi directly to ask to borrow the money.

Nguyen called but Mr. Nghi did not agree to lend it to him. Nguyen walked around the camp many times and saw that there was still an unused oxygen blower so he asked Ms. Hien: "You have that extra machine, why don't you let me borrow it?"

Ms. Hien asked Nghi to leave the crab farm. At this time, Ms. Hien walked out in front, Nguyen followed and suddenly pulled out a knife and stabbed Ms. Hien many times, causing the victim to die on the spot.

After committing the crime, Nguyen quickly fled the scene and was arrested shortly thereafter.

After deliberation, the People's Court of Bac Lieu province sentenced defendant Le Chi Nguyen to death./.
