Plan to withdraw Russian troops from Crimea is 'unrealistic'
(Baonghean.vn)- The desire to make a breakthrough by withdrawing Russian troops from Crimea is unrealistic for Kiev. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering significant losses.

Il Sussidiario (Italy) quoted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky mentioning negotiations, but only when Kiev's army advances to the Crimean border.
Commenting on this statement, journalist Gianandrea Gaiani of Il Sussidiario newspaper said that, based on the current situation, this is an unlikely scenario, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering significant losses.
The conflict has dragged on, with the Ukrainian army's counterattack yielding no results, despite increasing drone attacks on Russian territory.
Analyzing the statement of the President of Ukraine, journalist Gianandrea Gaiani said: “Mr. Zelensky did not say that he was ready to negotiate on Crimea. It seems that what he wanted to say was that when the Ukrainian army reached the border of Crimea, the signing of a peace agreement would take place. Accordingly, the Russian army would withdraw from the area without fighting.”
Journalist Gianandrea Gaiani commented that the situation Zelensky is talking about is completely unrealistic, because Ukraine is not yet at the stage of crossing the Russian border, and has not yet conquered the territories north of Crimea.
“The Ukrainian president has made an assumption about the future he hopes for, but it is not at all close to reality,” said journalist Gianandrea Gaiani.
The Italian journalist also added that Kiev's statements about the breakthrough of the front with Russia do not correspond to the reality of the battlefield. Along with that, the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are obvious. Kiev claims to have broken through the first line of defense, but it should be remembered that ahead, Russia has three more layers of defense that need to be overcome.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly stated his desire to retake Crimea. He previously announced a list of steps to “liberate” the peninsula, promising to quickly reintegrate Crimea into the “Ukrainian state structure”.
For its part, Moscow called Kiev's intentions "suicidal acts", noting that it is impossible to seize a piece of territory from a powerful nuclear power.
