Terrorist explains reason for attacking Christmas market in Germany.
Prosecutors said the terrorist at the Magdeburg Christmas market explained the attack was due to receiving negative feedback about Saudis.

According to RIA Novosti, senior prosecutor Horst Hopens said the perpetrator of the Magdeburg Christmas market attack explained his actions were due to dissatisfaction with the treatment of Saudi Arabian refugees in Germany.
Previously, the German newspaper Spiegel reported that eight days prior, the suspect had spoken on an anti-Islam blog in the US, where he accused Germany of conducting a "secret operation" to "hunt down" former Muslims from Saudi Arabia with the aim of "destroying their lives."
According to prosecutors, "dissatisfaction with the treatment of refugees from Saudi Arabia" may have been the motive behind the attack.
Conversely, the head of the German Interior Ministry, Nancy Feser, said that the suspect was an anti-Muslim.
A security camera video posted on social media captured the scene of a BMW plowing into a crowd at a Christmas market in Magdeburg at breakneck speed on the evening of December 20th, hitting and running over many people. According to the Minister President of Saxony-Anhalt, Reiner Haseloff, the attack resulted in 5 deaths and over 200 injuries.
Police believe the hit-and-run was carried out by a 50-year-old Saudi Arabian man acting alone. According to the Süddeutsche Zeitung, the suspect was granted refugee status in July 2016 and held a residence permit in Germany. Spiegel later reported that Saudi authorities had warned German security agencies three times about the threat posed by this man.
