(Baonghean.vn) - While under investigation for organizing the illegal use of narcotics, Bui Xuan Loi fled the area and sought employment as a worker at a company in Nghi Loc district.
On May 6, 2022, the Nghi Loc District Police announced that they had successfully apprehended a suspect who was hiding in the area while attempting to flee the locality, for the crime of organizing the illegal use of narcotics.
Accordingly, through the management of residence on the National Population Data System and the review of information on citizens registering for temporary residence in the area, the Nghi Tien Commune Police, Nghi Loc District, discovered that Bui Xuan Loi (born in 1986), residing in Thanh My Commune, Thanh Chuong District, was currently in the process of registering for temporary residence in Nghi Tien Commune with many suspicious signs.

Through discussions with the Thanh Chuong District Police Investigation Agency, it was learned that Bui Xuan Loi is a repeat offender with numerous prior convictions and arrest warrants. He was recently indicted and an arrest warrant was issued on April 7, 2022, for organizing the illegal use of narcotics by the Thanh Chuong District Police Investigation Agency. During the investigation into the illegal use of narcotics, Loi failed to comply with the summons from the Thanh Chuong District Police Investigation Agency and fled the area. While on the run, Loi sought employment as a worker at a company in Nghi Tien commune, Nghi Loc district.
Recognizing that this individual was a heavy drug addict and highly volatile, the Nghi Tien commune police reported the matter to the Nghi Loc district police leadership for guidance.
Through professional investigative measures, at approximately 2:30 PM on May 5, 2022, the Nghi Tien Commune Police, in coordination with the Nghi Thiet Commune Police, the Nghi Yen Commune Police, the Administrative Management Team of Nghi Loc District Police, and the Criminal, Economic, and Narcotics Investigation Team of Thanh Chuong District Police, successfully ambushed and arrested Bui Xuan Loi while he was hiding in Nam Thang hamlet, Nghi Tien commune.
Currently, Bui Xuan Loi has been handed over to the Criminal Investigation Agency of Thanh Chuong District Police for handling according to regulations.
