On May 6, 2022, Nghi Loc District Police said that the unit had just successfully arrested a subject who was hiding in the area while fleeing the locality for the act of organizing illegal drug use.
Accordingly, through the work of managing residence on the National Population Data System and reviewing information of citizens registering for temporary residence in the area, Nghi Tien Commune Police, Nghi Loc District discovered that Bui Xuan Loi (born in 1986), residing in Thanh My Commune, Thanh Chuong District, is currently carrying out procedures to register for temporary residence in Nghi Tien Commune with many suspicious signs.

Conducting an exchange with the Thanh Chuong District Police Investigation Agency, it was learned that Bui Xuan Loi is a subject with many criminal records, has just been prosecuted and has an arrest warrant for temporary detention on April 7, 2022 for the act of organizing illegal use of drugs by the Thanh Chuong District Police Investigation Agency. During the investigation of the act of organizing illegal use of drugs, Loi did not comply with the summons of the Thanh Chuong District Police Investigation Agency and fled the locality. During the escape, Loi applied to work as a worker at a company in Nghi Tien commune, Nghi Loc district.
Identifying this as a serious drug addict and very reckless, Nghi Tien Commune Police reported to Nghi Loc District Police leaders to ask for direction.
By professional measures, at about 2:30 p.m. on May 5, 2022, Nghi Tien Commune Police co-chaired with Nghi Thiet Commune Police, Nghi Yen Commune Police in coordination with the Administrative Management Team of Nghi Loc District Police, the Criminal - Economic - Drug Crime Investigation Police Team of Thanh Chuong District Police to conduct an ambush and successfully arrest Bui Xuan Loi when he was hiding in Nam Thang hamlet, Nghi Tien commune.
Currently, the subject Bui Xuan Loi has been handed over to the Investigation Police Agency of Thanh Chuong District Police for handling according to regulations.
