Nghe An Border Guard calls on ships to take shelter from storm No. 3 and advises the Provincial People's Committee to ban sea travel from July 21.
Storm No. 3 (WIPHA) is developing complicatedly, forecast to make landfall directly in the Northern provinces and cause rain and whirlwinds to the North Central provinces. The Command of Nghe An Border Guard has proactively deployed response measures, calling on ships to take shelter from the storm.

(Baonghean.vn) - In response to the development of storm No. 1 (TaLim), on July 17, localities and the Border Guard force of Nghe An province organized a call for ships to come ashore for safe shelter.

(Baonghean.vn) - At 5:00 p.m. on July 15, the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense issued Official Dispatch No. 04/CD-BCH on proactively responding to the first storm in 2023. This is a strong storm and is expected to make landfall in the Northern region.

Storm Conson (storm number 5) with level 13 winds is moving from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai.
Storm No. 5 is moving at a constantly changing speed, likely heading towards the sea area from Quang Tri - Quang Ngai with the strongest wind near the storm center at level 10-11 (90-115 km/h), gusting to level 13.
