International tourist robbed of 600 million VND by female bar employee.
Tran Thu Huong, 37 years old, stole an international payment card from an Indian customer while he was at a bar and used it to buy 13.3 ounces of gold.

Huong (from Bac Lieu province) is a waitress at the M&K bar (in Ward 1, Vung Tau City), where she welcomed Mr. Kamal Kishore Ravi (an Indian national) who came to visit in the early morning of January 18th.
At the end of the party, he gave his international payment card to Huong to use at the checkout counter. Noticing that the customer hadn't locked the card with his password, she returned it, prolonged the conversation, and then stole the card.
That morning, Huong took the card to several gold shops in Vung Tau City and bought 13.3 taels of gold (approximately 600 million VND). The "female con artist" then took 4 taels to the bank to sell to pay off debts and for personal expenses, and threw the card in the trash when she learned that the victim had blocked the account.
Huong was detained by the Vung Tau City Police for investigation into her actions.Theft of property.
