(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 29th, the leaders of Nghe An province held a working session with five key projects in the area, including: VSIP Nghe An Urban and Service Industrial Park, WHA Hemaraj Industrial Park, Song Lam Cement Plant, Vinpearl Cua Hoi Hotel, Entertainment and Resort Villa Complex, and Masan Pig Farm.

| Attending the meeting were: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; along with the Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Le Ngoc Hoa, Huynh Thanh Dien, Dinh Viet Hong; and leaders of various departments and agencies. Also present were representatives from Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, Do Luong, Yen Thanh, Quy Hop districts, Cua Lo town, and Vinh city. |
According to reports from investors, the five key projects mentioned above are accelerating their progress. The VSIP urban and service industrial park project has eight secondary investors in operation; some projects such as the Vinpearl Cua Hoi hotel, entertainment and resort complex, and the Nghi Thiet cement grinding plant will be put into operation on the occasion of the anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification Day on April 30th this year; while the WHA Hemaraj industrial park and the Masan pig farm have completed the planning and procedures for the Government to grant investment licenses.

In particular, thanks to the investor's efforts, the Vinpearl Cua Hoi Hotel, Entertainment Complex, and Resort Villas project is now basically complete. At the meeting, Mr. Tran Kien Cuong - Project Development Director of Vingroup Group - said that nearly 200 rooms in the hotel building have already been booked by customers until the end of June 2017; in addition, 15 beachfront villas and a conference center are ready to operate in April 2017.

However, some investors also suggested that the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments and localities should be more proactive in accelerating land clearance, land handover, and the completion of roads serving the projects; and that the environmental impact assessment reports for some projects are delayed.
At the meeting, the Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives from various departments and agencies, and the districts of Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, Do Luong, Yen Thanh, Quy Hop, Cua Lo town, and Vinh city, discussed in detail the ongoing projects and proposed solutions to support investors in accelerating project progress.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh acknowledged the achievements of investors and relevant agencies in coordinating the implementation of projects. The Provincial Party Secretary also noted that the Provincial People's Committee, relevant departments, and localities need to be more decisive in resolving obstacles and outstanding issues for each project; during this process, the Southeast Economic Zone needs to assign capable personnel and closely coordinate with relevant departments, localities, and investors to effectively handle compensation and land clearance, and actively support businesses in accelerating the progress of construction projects.
Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh also suggested that investors proactively develop detailed plans for their projects, so that the Provincial People's Committee, relevant departments, and localities can promptly resolve related procedures, contributing to accelerating the progress of the projects.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong highly appreciated the investor's efforts in accelerating the progress of the project; at the same time, he noted that relevant departments and localities have been more proactive in accompanying investors in completing administrative procedures, land clearance, and supporting the construction of the projects.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also assigned specific tasks to departments, agencies, and localities to be more proactive in working with investors and central ministries and agencies to complete administrative procedures, definitively complete land clearance for projects, accelerate construction progress, and bring them into operation as soon as possible, thereby maximizing their effectiveness in socio-economic development and job creation.
