Vinpearl Cua Hoi Hotel (Cua Lo) is fully booked until June 2017
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 29, Nghe An Provincial leaders had a working session with 5 key projects in the area including: VSIP Nghe An Urban and Service Industrial Park, WHA Hemaraj Industrial Park, Song Lam Cement Factory, Vinpearl Cua Hoi Hotel, Entertainment Complex and Resort Villas, Masan Pig Farm.

| Attending the meeting were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Le Ngoc Hoa, Huynh Thanh Dien, Dinh Viet Hong and leaders of Departments and branches. Also attending the meeting were representatives of Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, Do Luong, Yen Thanh, Quy Hop districts, Cua Lo town and Vinh city. |
According to reports from investors, the above 5 key projects are accelerating their progress. The VSIP Urban and Service Industrial Park project has 8 secondary investors in operation; some projects such as: Vinpearl Cua Hoi Hotel, Entertainment and Resort Villa Complex, Nghi Thiet Cement Grinding Station will be put into operation on the occasion of the anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30 this year; and WHA Hemaraj Industrial Park, Masan Pig Farm have completed planning and procedures for the Government to grant investment licenses.

In particular, with the efforts of the investor, the Vinpearl Cua Hoi Hotel, Entertainment Complex and Resort Villas project has been basically completed. At the meeting, Mr. Tran Kien Cuong - Project Development Director of Vingroup Corporation said that nearly 200 rooms of the hotel have been booked until the end of June 2017; along with 15 beach villas and a conference center ready to be put into operation in April 2017.

However, some investors also recommended that the Provincial People's Committee and relevant sectors and localities take more active steps to speed up site clearance, land handover, and completion of roads serving the projects; environmental impact reporting of some projects is slow.
At the meeting, the Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of departments, branches and districts of Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, Do Luong, Yen Thanh, Quy Hop, Cua Lo Town and Vinh City discussed in detail the projects being implemented and discussed solutions to support investors to speed up the progress of the projects.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh acknowledged the achievements of investors and sectors in coordinating the implementation of projects. The Provincial Party Secretary also noted that the Provincial People's Committee, sectors and localities need to be more drastic in removing obstacles and problems of each project; in that process, the Southeast Economic Zone needs to arrange competent staff, closely coordinate with sectors, localities and investors to effectively resolve compensation and site clearance work, and actively support businesses to speed up the progress of projects.
Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh also requested investors to proactively develop detailed plans for projects, on that basis, the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches and localities promptly resolve related procedures, contributing to speeding up the progress of projects.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong highly appreciated the efforts of investors in speeding up the progress of project works; at the same time, sectors and localities were more active in accompanying investors in completing administrative procedures, site clearance, and supporting construction works.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also assigned specific tasks to departments, branches and localities to take more drastic actions with investors to work with central ministries and branches to complete administrative procedures, completely complete site clearance for projects, speed up construction progress, put them into operation soon, promote efficiency in socio-economic development and create jobs.
