Western tourists enjoy Khe Kèm waterfall.
(Baonghean.vn) - Located about 25 km from Con Cuong town, during the April 30th and May 1st holidays, Kem Waterfall welcomed a large number of tourists who came to visit and cool off, including quite a few tourists from as far away as Europe.
During the two-day holiday on April 30th and May 1st, temperatures in western Nghe An province rose significantly, with some areas experiencing scorching heat reaching 38-39 degrees Celsius.0C. Instead of flocking to noisy tourist cities, many visitors have chosen waterfalls and streams in the highlands of Nghe An province to relax and cool off. Among them, the Kem Waterfall area (Con Cuong) is an ideal location favored by many.

During this period, Kèm Waterfall welcomed thousands of visitors from near and far, including many tourists from as far away as Europe. Many people, upon arriving, expressed their delight and exclaimed, "It's like something out of the King Kong movie!"
David, one of the early visitors to Kèm Waterfall, couldn't hide his surprise at witnessing the cool water cascading from a height of hundreds of meters, creating a white foam as it flowed down into the stream.
David said that he is 26 years old, German, has completed his master's degree, and has been in Vietnam for a year to research Vietnamese culture.

Despite being new to the country, David speaks Vietnamese fluently. “I’ve visited many tourist destinations in your country, but this is my first time at Kèm Waterfall. All I can say is it’s absolutely amazing,” David exclaimed.
Accompanied by his Vietnamese girlfriend, he said that he would probably stay and become attached to Nghe An province, as the scenery and people here made him not want to leave at all.

During this visit, we also met a familiar British tourist. This was Thomson's second time visiting Kèm Waterfall. Last year, he had the opportunity to swim and enjoy the specialties of the Thai ethnic people of Nghe An, a memory he still cherishes.
This time, Thomson decided to travel over 400 km from Hanoi to relive the feeling of last year's holiday. "For me, returning this time, everything feels new, yet retains the same joy as before. Your country is beautiful," Thomson said.

Thus, it can be seen that the scenic spots in western Nghe An province are not only known to tourists within the province but also attract foreign visitors. More promotional programs are needed to make these scenic spots more widely known.
