Customers and karaoke bar owners were fined for defying the ban.
(Baonghean.vn) - Despite the Provincial People's Committee issuing a directive to suspend non-essential activities from 12:00 PM on May 6th to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic, two karaoke establishments in Nghi Loc district continued to operate all night.

The Nghi Loc District Police task force inspected this karaoke bar and discovered 11 young men and women drinking beer and singing karaoke to loud music in room 104. Among them were 6 customers: Dang Ba Th., Nguyen Van D., Nguyen Viet T., Nguyen Viet D., Hoang Minh Q., all residing in Nghi Long commune; and Nguyen Dinh D, residing in Nghi Truong commune. The 5 hostesses were: Lang Thi Van A., residing in Tien Phong commune, Que Phong district; Luong Thi L., residing in Bao Nam commune, Ky Son district; Nguyen Thi Thanh H., residing in Hung Tien commune, Nam Dan district; Sam Thi Th. and Vi Thi Thu H., both residing in Chau Binh commune, Quy Chau district.
Earlier, at approximately 11:15 PM on May 16th, a task force from the Nghi Loc District Police conducted a surprise inspection of the Danh Dj karaoke bar in Nghi Thai commune, Nghi Loc district. They discovered seven young men and women singing karaoke in one of the rooms. The Nghi Loc District Police issued a report and imposed administrative penalties on both the karaoke bar owner and the staff.
