Opening ceremony of the training course on national defense and security knowledge for target group 3.
(Baonghean.vn) - On June 12th, at Regiment 764, the National Defense and Security Education Council of Nghe An province held the opening ceremony for the first training course on national defense and security knowledge for target group 3 in 2023.
Attending and directing the opening ceremony was Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Member of the Standing Committee of the Military Party Committee, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command, and member of the National Defense and Security Education Council of Nghe An province.

Over a period of 12 days (June 12-23), 78 officials, including heads and deputy heads of departments, agencies, and mass organizations at the provincial, district, and equivalent levels, as well as leading officials at the commune level, will receive training on 20 specialized topics.
This includes: The Communist Party's guidelines and viewpoints; the Vietnamese State's policies and laws on national defense and security; socio-economic development linked to strengthening and consolidating national defense and security and foreign relations; protecting political, economic, cultural, and ideological security; state management of security, order, ethnicity, and religion linked to national defense and security in the new situation; building a national defense system and a national defense posture linked to a people's security posture in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland; some content on building and operating defense zones; writing a report and K54 rifle shooting training (lesson 1).

Delivering a directive speech at the opening ceremony, Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Member of the Standing Committee of the Military Party Committee, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command - urged the trainees to study seriously, actively discuss and exchange ideas on the topics; thereby improving their level of knowledge and understanding of national defense and security, cultivating strong political and ideological fortitude, better fulfilling their assigned responsibilities and tasks, and contributing to the successful implementation of the two strategic tasks of building and defending the Fatherland.
