Opening Ceremony of the 2017 Sports Games for War Invalids and People with Disabilities

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of July 24th, the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province organized the 2017 Sports Competition for War Invalids and People with Disabilities in Anh Son district.

The sports competition was attended by 30 athletes, including war invalids, sick soldiers, and people with disabilities from 9 districts: Anh Son, Do Luong, Thanh Chuong, Nam Dan, Quynh Luu, Nghia Dan, and Dien Chau. The tournament included 3 sports: badminton, chess, and table tennis, with various events divided according to participants and health levels.

With the slogan "Disabled but not defeated," the tournament is organized to motivate and encourage the movement of practicing and competing in sports for war invalids, sick soldiers, and people with disabilities in the province; creating opportunities for exchange, learning from experience, improving health, and integrating into the community.
