Opening Ceremony of the Nghe An Table Tennis Championship 2025
On the morning of October 18th, at the Vinh Phu Ward Sports Center, the Nghe An Provincial Table Tennis Federation, in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, inaugurated the Anh Hoang Cup 2025 Table Tennis Championship.
Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Hoang Van Phuc, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tang Xuan Hai, President of the Nghe An Table Tennis Federation - Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament, along with representatives from various departments, agencies and sponsors.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Tang Xuan Hai emphasized: “With a spirit of sportsmanship, unity, and fairness, the tournament organizers hope to bring about high-level, exciting matches. Athletes should compete with the highest spirit and determination. The referees should work with the utmost fairness, responsibility, and enthusiasm.”
The 2025 Nghe An Table Tennis Championship for the Anh Hoang Cup brought together over 400 athletes from 100 clubs across the province. Competitions included men's doubles (leadership category), team events in CDE and F categories, and men's and women's singles events across various age groups, with over 200 young athletes participating.
The 2025 Nghe An Table Tennis Federation Championship for the Anh Hoang Cup is not only a sporting event, but also a testament to the vibrant spirit of the province's sports movement in general, and table tennis in particular.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, matches within the framework of the tournament took place. It is known that the Nghe An Table Tennis Championship for the Anh Hoang Cup 2025 will take place over 3 days, from October 17th to October 19th.
