Opening of the 15th Central Committee Conference

The 15th Conference of the 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam reviewed and gave opinions on the tasks to successfully organize the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Specifically, the 15th Central Committee Conference focused on resolving three major and important issues, namely: (1) Issues concerning personnel work for the 14th Party Congress, (2) Issues concerning the draft content of documents to be submitted to the 14th Party Congress, (3) Tasks to organize the 14th Party Congress such as: Working regulations, election regulations at the 14th Party Congress; Report on inspection, supervision and disciplinary work of the Party during the 13th Party Congress term; Report on inspection, supervision and disciplinary work in 2025, direction and tasks for 2026; on the policy of summarizing 100 years of the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam (1930-2030) with the Vietnamese Revolution and summarizing 40 years of implementing the Platform for building the country in the transitional period to socialism; Report on organizational work to serve the 14th Party Congress and some other related contents.

In his opening remarks at the Conference, General Secretary To Lam urged the Conference to focus its intellect, responsibility, frankness, objectivity, and impartiality in selecting personnel to be nominated for the 14th Party Congress, and to contribute opinions on the agenda items of the Congress.
