Opening Ceremony of the Nghe An Banking Industry Sports Festival 2024
This year's Nghe An Banking Sector Sports Festival features the participation of 950 athletes from 41 delegations, competing in 5 sports.
On the evening of October 5th, the Vietnam Banking Union of Nghe An province held the opening ceremony of the 2024 Nghe An Banking Industry Sports Festival.
Attending the opening ceremony were representatives from the Party Committee of the provincial agencies, the Party Committee of the provincial enterprises, the Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor, the Department of Culture and Sports, and leaders of the State Bank of Vietnam's Nghe An branch.
Over the years, the Nghe An Banking Industry Sports Festival has become a meaningful tradition. It's not just a simple sporting event, but also a platform to showcase the strength, spirit, and solidarity of all officials, employees, and workers in the banking sector throughout the province.
The 2024 Banking Industry Sports Festival, themed "Unity - Strength for Development," attracted over 950 athletes from 41 units, competing in five sports: football, volleyball, tug-of-war, badminton, and table tennis.
At the opening ceremony, representatives of the athletes took an oath to compete with honesty, sportsmanship, confidence, determination, and dedication, offering the audience exciting and beautiful performances that evoke feelings of exhilaration and suspense. The referees officiated the matches with a high sense of responsibility, ensuring objectivity, fairness, and adherence to the rules.
The enthusiastic and selfless cheering of the fans for all the teams created a vibrant atmosphere, leaving behind impressive images and unforgettable memories for every officer, union member, and employee of the banking sector in the area.
The sports festival will take place from October 4th to October 13th in Vinh City.
