In her opening remarks, Comrade Dang Thi Dung – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Quan Thanh Commune – emphasized: The Gam Temple and Pagoda Festival is not only an occasion to express gratitude for the merits of our ancestors, Buddhas, Saints, and deities who have contributed to our homeland and country, but also a major spiritual and cultural festival that contributes to educating the tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source," strengthening national unity, and inspiring aspirations for the development of our homeland in the new era.

This year's festival holds particular significance as it is the first to be held after Quan Thanh commune officially implemented a two-tiered local government system following the merger of four communes: Xuan Thanh, Bac Thanh, Trung Thanh, and Nam Thanh.

This is not only a cultural event, but also an opportunity to bring the community together, strengthen bonds, and affirm the shared cultural identity of the locality in the new era.
Immediately after the opening drum and gong ceremony, representatives from all levels proceeded to offer prayers and incense at the Gam Temple-Pagoda complex according to the local tradition.
