Opening Ceremony of the Cua Lo Beach Tourism Festival 2025
The Cua Lo Beach Tourism Festival 2025 is organized to introduce and promote the unique tourism products of Cua Lo beach - Vinh city to local people and domestic and international tourists. This will open up opportunities to attract investment to Nghe An province.
On the evening of April 19th, at Binh Minh Square, the People's Committee of Vinh City, Nghe An province, held the opening ceremony of the Cua Lo Beach Tourism Festival 2025.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
To the members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee:Le Duc Cuong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department; Pham Trong Hoang - Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Phan Dai Nghia - Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Phan Duc Dong - Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee and Chairman of the Vinh City People's Council.
Representatives of leaders from departments, agencies, and localities in the province; cAlong with tens of thousands of people from Vinh city and tourists from all over.
The opening ceremony was broadcast live by Nghe An Television Station and retransmitted by 18 television stations nationwide.
SeaCua LoIt is a scenic spot often referred to as the "green gem" of Nghe An province and the North Central region; it has been rated by the World Tourism Organization as one of the most ideal beaches in Vietnam.
Cua Lo beach tourism has been explored, formed, and developed over the past 117 years... In 2024, Cua Lo tourism welcomed more than 5 million visitors. Revenue from service and tourism activities was estimated at 5,130 billion VND.

In 2025, the townCua LoFollowing the merger with Vinh City, Vinh City has focused on investing in and developing Cua Lo beach to continue attracting tourists, aiming to welcome 6.9 million visitors, including 3.2 million overnight guests; and achieving a total revenue of 7,000 billion VND from tourism activities.
In her opening remarks at the Cua Lo Beach Tourism Festival 2025, Ms. Tran Thi Cam Tu, Vice Chairman of the Vinh City People's Committee, stated: The Cua Lo Beach Tourism Festival is a major cultural event; an opportunity to honor the beauty of nature, culture, and people of Nghe An province. The festival is a chance to introduce to domestic and international tourists Cua Lo beach, Vinh city, and Nghe An province, a developing and culturally rich area.
This year's festival is not only an activity to stimulate local tourism, but also an important step to further affirm the position of Cua Lo beach tourism on the domestic and international tourism map.
Reportedly, Cua Lo beach tourism in 2025 will have many noteworthy new features. Accordingly, Vinh City has implemented many free services such as showers, public restrooms, parking, and Wi-Fi for residents and tourists.
During the opening ceremony, delegates, a large number of Vinh city residents, and tourists enjoyed a spectacular artistic program. The program, "Cua Lo - A Shining Dawn," consisted of three parts: "Touching the Waves of Love," "Waves of Love," and "Burning Summer," featuring artists such as Ali Hoang Duong, Duong Hoang Yen, Mai Tien Dung, Ly Ly, Nguyen Thu Thuy, OPlus Band, and rapper Dangrangto. The program created a vibrant and exciting atmosphere for both locals and visitors.
At the end of the ceremony, delegates, a large number of Vinh city residents, and tourists witnessed a spectacular 15-minute high-altitude fireworks display to welcome the new tourist season. The spectacle was dazzling, visually stunning, and full of emotion.
The 2025 Cua Lo beach tourism season will feature many attractive cultural, artistic, sports, and commercial activities to enrich the visitor experience. In April and May 2025, there will be a fair showcasing tourism products and OCOP (One Commune One Product) products held right on Cua Lo beach; a national "Youth Dance" festival from April 19-30 at Binh Minh Square; and national-scale sports competitions such as the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup cycling race and the beach sepak takraw tournament.
At the VinWonder Cua Hoi amusement park, many culinary, cultural, and artistic exchange programs will also be organized, creating attractive highlights for the tourist season.
Numerous competitions, cultural exchanges, street art performances, and sporting events will take place at agencies, units, wards, and communes, contributing to spreading the festive atmosphere widely.
