Opening ceremony of the training course on literature and art for the development of the cultural industry in Vietnam.

Attending the opening ceremony were Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen The Ky - former member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, former Director General of the Voice of Vietnam Radio, Chairman of the Central Council for Literary and Artistic Criticism; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province.

The delegation from Nghe An province, led by Comrade Vo Van Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, attended the opening ceremony of the training course.

Attending the training course were officials from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; the Department of Culture and Sports; provincial newspapers and broadcasting stations; the Provincial Literature and Arts Association; the Provincial Journalists Association; lecturers from Ha Long University; and trainees working at cultural, artistic, press, publishing, and literary and artistic creation agencies, professional associations, and universities and colleges at the central and local levels.

Within the framework of the training course from April 15th to 18th, participants were introduced to the following topics: The role of literature and art in the development of Vietnam's cultural industry; the development of Vietnam's cultural industries; the art market in Vietnam; the Vietnamese film industry with the development of film genres and the construction of the film market; American cinema and the policies that determine the success of the American film industry; and the creation of Vietnamese music products to meet the requirements of cultural industry development.

During this training course, participants will be arranged by the organizers to visit several locations within Quang Ninh province.
