Opening of the photo exhibition "Beautiful Laos"

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the traditional New Year Bunpimay 2016, on the morning of April 10, at Vinh University, the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association, Vinh University, and Nghe An Photojournalism Club jointly organized the opening of the photo exhibition "Beautiful Laos" by journalist - photographer Tran Duy Ngoan.

Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Luong Thanh Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Head of the Ethnic Committee, Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station, Vi To Dinh - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association of Nghe An province.

The exhibition introduces 130 photos taken from the photo book of the same name "Beautiful Laos" about the landscapes, landscapes, and cultural characteristics of the Land of a Million Elephants.

This is a unique cultural activity, aiming to continue building the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos in general, Nghe An and Lao provinces in particular.

The photo collection was selected from thousands of photos that journalist and photographer Tran Duy Ngoan has created in the Lao PDR over the past decades.

Author Tran Duy Ngoan donated a photo collection to Vinh University.

130 works displayed at the exhibition were displayed and introduced by the Vietnam Journalists Association and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in Hanoi and Vinh City.

After the exhibition, the author donated this photo collection to the school for use in the learning and research process.
