Opening Ceremony of the Week 'National Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage'
On the evening of November 15th, at the Vietnam National Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village, Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi, the "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" Week officially opened.

Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan and Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong attended the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan affirmed that unity is a precious tradition of our nation. Especially over the past 85 years, since the establishment of the Party and the leadership of President Ho Chi Minh, with the contributions of the National United Front throughout various periods, the tradition of patriotism and the spirit of unity among ethnic groups have been increasingly consolidated, strengthened, and promoted, becoming a great strength of the Vietnamese people and the Vietnamese nation.
Chairman Nguyen Thien Nhan expressed his confidence and hope that all Vietnamese people, including those living abroad, will continue to awaken and promote national pride and self-respect; strengthen and consolidate national unity; work together, contribute their strength and intellect; seize opportunities; and overcome challenges for the goal of "a prosperous people, a strong nation, democracy, fairness, and civilization."
The "National Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" week will feature the participation of 150 village elders, community leaders, religious dignitaries, and influential figures representing the 54 ethnic groups within the great Vietnamese national family. During the event, numerous activities will be held to introduce, promote, and honor the tangible and intangible cultural values of these ethnic groups, contributing to building and strengthening national unity and enhancing interaction and solidarity among the Vietnamese people.
