(Baonghean.vn)- The Environmental Police Department of Nghe An Province Police has just discovered a case of illegal logging in Yen Tinh Commune, Tuong Duong District, Nghe An Province.

Accordingly, on October 11, 2016, the Provincial Police Department's Environmental Police caught a number of subjects cutting down trees in the upstream forest area bordering Cha Lum and Na Cang villages, Yen Tinh commune, Tuong Duong district.

Through initial investigation, the subjects involved were identified as: Nguyen Van Cuong (born in 1984), residing in Na Cang village, Yen Tinh commune; Oc Van Ty (born in 1985), residing in Huoi Xon village, Yen Na commune and Lo Van Bach (born in 1990), residing in Cha Lum village, Yen Tinh commune.

In coordination with functional forces, initially determined the amount of wood in the exploitation area and discovered in neighboring areas a very large volume, belonging to wood groups II to VIII.
Currently, the authorities are continuing to investigate and clarify the incident.
