Launching the Database Portal for the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Sector

On the afternoon of June 2nd, the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony for the Database Portal of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector.

Attending the ceremony was Comrade Thai Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The launch of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Sector Database Portal marks a significant milestone in the sector's digital transformation process, contributing to the goal of building a digital government, digital economy, and digital society in the province.

The system creates a platform for connecting, sharing, and synchronously exploiting data across the fields of culture, sports, tourism, journalism, and publishing; effectively serving management and administration, while simultaneously improving the quality of service for citizens and businesses. In the future, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to standardize, digitize, and enrich data in the direction of being "accurate, complete, clean, and relevant."

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Thai Van Thanh acknowledged and commended the efforts of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and related units in the process of building the system.

The comrade suggested that the sector continue to update and standardize data in a way that is "accurate, complete, clean, and relevant"; identifying the updating, sharing, and exploitation of data as a regular task, linked to the responsibility of the head of the sector. At the same time, it is necessary to promote data connectivity and sharing, and apply new technologies to improve the efficiency of managing and preserving heritage, developing sports, and promoting tourism in the digital environment.
