Opening of the 5th safe food and agricultural products store in Vinh city
Besides providing outstanding agricultural products, the store is also a place to introduce and promote typical products, OCOP products, gift baskets... of regions of Nghe An province.
On the morning of October 10, the Vinh City Farmers' Association held the opening ceremony of a store introducing and selling typical farmer products, OCOP products, at 83 Nguyen Canh Hoan Street, Vinh City. This is the 5th store in the chain of stores selling typical farmer products, OCOP products built by the Vinh City Farmers' Association in coordination with communes and wards.
Vinh City is home to wholesale markets, traditional markets, supermarkets in wards and communes... serving a large number of customers inside and outside the province.
Clean agricultural product stores deployed by the Farmers' Association help consumers have more reliable addresses to choose clean and safe foods and agricultural products.
Vinh City Farmers’ Association has developed a project “Chain of stores introducing and trading typical products of farmers, OCOP products”. The goal is to have 5-15 points by the end of 2025 and 15-30 points by the end of 2028.
After a short time implementing the Project, the Association has built 5 clean agricultural product stalls in Hung Dung ward, Nghi Lien commune, Nghi An commune, Hung Loc commune and Quan Bau ward, Vinh city.
The stores are committed to strictly complying with the inspection and supervision of the Association at all levels as well as the authorities. OCOP products developed by the Vinh City Farmers' Association in coordination with communes and wards are introduced and provided to consumers.
In particular, store number 5 focuses on the goal of introducing and promoting typical products, OCOP products, gift baskets... At the same time, combining with tours, promoting and selling typical regional products of Nghe An province.
