Opening of the 5th safe agricultural produce and food store in Vinh City.
Besides offering outstanding agricultural products, the store also serves as a place to introduce and promote distinctive products, OCOP products, gift baskets, etc., from various regions of Nghe An province.
On the morning of October 10th, the Vinh City Farmers' Association held the opening ceremony for a store showcasing and selling specialty agricultural products and OCOP (One Commune One Product) products at 83 Nguyen Canh Hoan Street, Vinh City. This is the 5th store in a chain of stores selling specialty agricultural products and OCOP products, established by the Vinh City Farmers' Association in coordination with communes and wards.
Vinh City is home to numerous wholesale markets, traditional markets, and supermarkets located in various wards and communes, serving a large number of customers both within and outside the province.
The clean produce stores established by the Farmers' Association provide consumers with more reliable options for choosing clean and safe food and agricultural products.
The Vinh City Farmers' Association has developed a project titled "Chain of stores showcasing and selling characteristic agricultural products and OCOP products." The goal is to have 5-15 such locations by the end of 2025 and an additional 15-30 locations by the end of 2028.
After a short period of implementing the project, the Association has established 5 stalls selling clean agricultural products in Hung Dung ward, Nghi Lien commune, Nghi An commune, Hung Loc commune and Quan Bau ward, Vinh city.
The stores are committed to strictly complying with inspections and supervision by all levels of the Farmers' Association as well as relevant authorities. OCOP products, developed by the Vinh City Farmers' Association in coordination with communes and wards, are introduced and supplied to consumers.
Specifically, store number 5 focuses on showcasing and promoting specialty products, OCOP products, gift baskets, etc. Simultaneously, it integrates with tourism tours to promote and sell unique regional products of Nghe An province.
