Free medical examinations and medication were provided to over 150 people in Quy Hop.

(Baonghean.vn) - On December 30th, the Quy Hop District Youth Union, in coordination with the District's Young Doctors Club, organized free medical examinations and dispensed free medicine in Chau Thanh commune.

Doctors from the District's Young Doctors Club provided free medical examinations, prescriptions, and medication to over 150 people in Na An and Na Bon, two particularly disadvantaged villages in Chau Thanh commune.

In addition, doctors and medical staff also advised and guided the local people on how to prevent and avoid some common diseases during the cold winter months.

The total cost of the medical examination and medication distribution was over 10 million VND, contributed by the District Youth Union and members of the District Young Doctors Club, as well as through fundraising efforts from benefactors in the district.

Every year, the Young Doctors Club of Quy Hop District organizes 2-3 free medical examination and medication distribution sessions for poor people in remote, disadvantaged, and particularly difficult areas within the district.
