Lieutenant Colonel Tran Viet Thang, head of the Hung Dung Ward Police (Vinh City), said that the bicycles will be equipped for the local police force. This is advantageous because Hung Dung Ward, with 20 blocks, over 18,000 residents, plus 13,000 temporary residents and 800 boarding houses, is still considered a key area for social order and security in the city. Equipping patrol bicycles will create a friendly and close image between the police force and the people, and will also be more mobile when entering narrow alleys and streets. This is also a common advantage for police units when using patrol bicycles. |
