During a single session, doctors and medical staff from Vinh Transport Hospital directly examined, advised, and provided free medicine to 60 impoverished and elderly people in Ta Ca commune.
In addition to examining common illnesses, doctors also conduct specialist examinations, detecting symptoms of eye, liver, and gallbladder diseases, and providing timely treatment advice.

Ta Ca commune is located about 4 km from the center of Muong Xen town and is home to four ethnic groups (Kho Mu, Thai, H'Mong, and Kinh) living in 11 villages. The entire commune has over 1,000 households, of which nearly 50% are poor.This is the second locality in the province where the working group organized free medical examinations and provided free medicine.

The free medical examination and medication program is one of the collaborative initiatives between Nghe An Newspaper and Golden City Joint Stock Company. Accordingly, Golden City Company allocates 20 million VND monthly to organize examinations, consultations, and provide medication to poor households in difficult circumstances throughout the province.
