Free health check-up, consultation and medicine for poor households in Ky Son
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 4, a working group including Golden City Joint Stock Company in coordination with Nghe An Newspaper and Vinh Transport Hospital organizedfree medical examination and medicine for people of T communein Ca, Ky Son district.

During one session, doctors and nurses from Vinh Transport Hospital directly examined, consulted and provided free medicine to 60 poor households and elderly people in Ta Ca commune.
In addition to examining common diseases, doctors also examine specialists, detect symptoms of eye, liver, gallbladder diseases... and provide timely treatment advice.

Ta Ca commune is about 4 km from Muong Xen town center, with 4 ethnic groups (Khoi Mu, Thai, H'Mong and Kinh) living in 11 villages. The whole commune has over 1,000 households, of which poor households account for nearly 50%.is the second locality in the province to receive free medical examination and medicine from the working group.

The free medical examination and medicine program is one of the cooperation activities between Nghe An Newspaper and Golden City Joint Stock Company. Accordingly, every month, Golden City Company spends 20 million VND to organize medical examination, consultation and medicine provision for poor households in difficult circumstances in the province.
