After releasing her second music video, considered her official debut MV titled "Let Us Be Closer," Chi Pu surprised domestic audiences by "attacking" the South Korean market. Even while still in Vietnam, she had already drawn criticism from netizens who advised her to stop singing. However, her performances of Korean songs with new arrangements received considerable backlash from South Korean audiences.

Immediately after being uploaded to Melon – the most reputable online search engine in South Korea – Chi Pu's Korean album quickly entered the top 10 search results. However, upon closer examination, the truth is quite the opposite, and the majority of comments are from Vietnamese viewers, with very few comments from Korean viewers.

Not only that, these comments were all harsh criticism directed at Chi Pu. "If you want to improve anything further, you'd better learn more Korean," "Are you a Vietnamese artist? So disappointing," "What am I listening to? A rooster crowing?", "Please, stop it"... these were some of the comments from Korean viewers regarding the former Hanoi hot girl's music.

Not only that, Chi Pu's album rating on this site is quite low, only 2.9/5. While she has appeared in many Korean news articles, those articles lack comments from the audience; nobody seems to pay attention to her.

Chi Pu sang the song "From Today" live off-key, her voice extremely weak.
