Establishing the VILACO brand in labor export.
(Baonghean.vn) - As a company with many years of experience in sending workers abroad, Vietnam International Manpower Joint Stock Company (VILACO) always focuses on innovation and creating favorable conditions for workers.
Businesses are struggling because of the pandemic.
During the pandemicCovid-19With the pandemic largely under control in Vietnam, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, together with labor export enterprises, intensified activities to promote labor export, sending workers abroad after a period of delay. However, shortly afterwards, the Covid-19 pandemic re-emerged in our country, causing difficulties for many labor export enterprises.
The first challenge for businesses in this sector is that trainees who have been accepted and completed their training but have not yet been able to depart withdraw from their job orders. Physical training and apprenticeship programs during online learning are not being adequately ensured due to the low level of awareness and responsibility among some trainees.

Due to the impact of the pandemic, some factories abroad have had to temporarily close and implement quarantine measures as mandated by the host governments. Workers' wages and incomes have decreased during this period, and their living conditions have been affected. Many job orders have dropped by 30-50% compared to the same period in previous years.
In addition, the recruitment and human resources activities of businesses have also been affected.
In the overseas labor market, many recruitment agencies and unions have had to rearrange working hours to reduce social distancing, resulting in untimely resolution of issues arising in factories. Many workers whose contracts have expired are unable to return home, causing anxiety for their families and trainees who have been selected but have not yet departed.
Meanwhile, businesses still have to ensure they pay for expenses such as facilities, salaries, taxes, insurance, and other costs. In this situation, many businesses have had to implement solutions such as staff reductions, temporary suspensions, or mergers of training units to reduce operating costs for a period of time. However, the biggest instability is the issue of personnel, due to the need to rearrange staff and work to adapt to the pandemic situation.
