High-end optical electronic component manufacturing plant inaugurated at VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park.

Leaders of Nghe An province attending the ceremony included: Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Bui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of departments, agencies, and localities.

Representing the investors was Mr. Vuong Duc Sieu - Chairman of Radiant Opto-Electronics Group; and representing the industrial park infrastructure developer was Mr. Teng Wei Hong - General Director of VSIP Nghe An Co., Ltd. Also present were partners, customers, and suppliers of the project.

Nghe An is an important manufacturing hub for Radiant Opto-Electronics Group in Southeast Asia.

The Radiant Opto - Electronics Vietnam Nghe An factory project is built on an area of ​​approximately 7 hectares in the VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park, invested by Radiant Opto - Electronics Group. It specializes in manufacturing high-end optical electronic components such as backlight modules (BLU), light guide plates (LGP), brightness enhancement films (BEF), molded plastic frames (M/F forming), etc.

These are all key products in the modern electronics industry supply chain, with high added value, making a significant contribution to Nghe An province's high-tech industrial development strategy.

To date, the project has completed and put into operation Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the production area and Phase 4.1 of the worker and expert accommodation area.

The rapid progress and modern scale of the project clearly demonstrate the determination, capacity, and reputation of the investor, and also reflect the timely support and cooperation of the Nghe An provincial government. Within just 9 days of the investor submitting the proposal (from December 12th to 21st, 2023), the province granted the investment registration certificate for this project.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Vuong Duc Sieu - Chairman of Radiant Opto-Electronics Group - expressed his sincere and profound gratitude to the leaders of Nghe An province, departments, agencies, and all partners, staff, engineers, and workers who have accompanied him throughout the project implementation process.

It will be a crucial operational center in Southeast Asia, and a symbol of the Group's innovation, quality, and trust.

According to Mr. Wang Yuchao, Radiant Opto-Electronics Corporation will continue to create value for global customers through efficient, high-quality production processes, while fully fulfilling its corporate commitments to society and the environment, becoming a model of harmonious integration of technology, responsibility, and innovation for sustainable development.

Mr. Wang Yu-chao also expressed his hope that, through this factory, cooperation between Taiwanese and Vietnamese partners and personnel will be further promoted, opening up more opportunities for learning, technical exchange, and cultural interaction, and working together towards new achievements in their shared development.

Representing the infrastructure investor, Mr. Teng Wei Hong - General Director of VSIP Nghe An Co., Ltd. shared that VSIP Nghe An is proud to partner with Radiant Opto-Electronics Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of optical components and substrate modules.

Mr. Teng Wei Hong expressed his hope that Radiant Opto-Electronics Group would continue to promote research, transfer advanced technology, train local human resources, move towards localizing the supply chain, and become a pioneering enterprise in bringing the semiconductor industry to Nghe An.

Speaking on behalf of the provincial leadership to congratulate Radiant Opto-Electronics Group, Mr. Bui Thanh An, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, affirmed that today's ceremony not only marks the important development of the project but also serves as proof of the strong cooperative relationship between Nghe An province and international investors, aiming towards the development of high-tech industries, contributing to upgrading production capacity and creating high-quality job opportunities for the locality.

The comrade expressed sincere gratitude to the investors for trusting and choosing Nghe An province as their investment destination, and believed that when the project becomes operational, it will contribute to completing the supply chain in the field of optical electronics; create more high-quality job opportunities for local workers, contribute to the socio-economic development of the area, and shift the economic structure to create momentum for the province to achieve its goals of rapid and sustainable development.

Comrade Bui Thanh An also acknowledged the positive support and cooperation of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board, relevant departments, agencies, and localities in assisting investors in completing procedures and during the construction process; and congratulated VSIP Nghe An Co., Ltd. on the achievements in implementing industrial park projects and attracting investment in the past period.

Emphasizing the principle of prioritizing the trust and satisfaction of businesses as the core objective to promote economic development, the Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province requested the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone, VSIP Nghe An Co., Ltd., relevant departments, localities, and functional units to proactively coordinate and promptly support the resolution of difficulties, obstacles, and suggestions from investors throughout the operation process so that the project can operate smoothly, efficiently, and sustainably.

The comrade also requested VSIP Nghe An Co., Ltd. to accelerate the implementation of the VSIP Nghe An III Industrial Park project, which is a multi-sector supporting industrial park model, in order to continue attracting secondary investors, especially partners of investors already present in VSIP Nghe An I Industrial Park.

Affirming that the event is a significant milestone in the province's investment attraction efforts, contributing to enhancing Nghe An's prestige on the international investment map, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Bui Thanh An, emphasized: Nghe An always accompanies, supports, and creates the best conditions for investors. He also expressed his hope that Radiant Opto-Electronics Group and its partners will continue to develop sustainably, expand production investment, contribute to the province's socio-economic development, promote localization, and collaborate with local businesses for mutual development.

Following this, the leaders of Nghe An province, along with delegates and investors, performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate and officially launch the Radiant Opto - Electronics Vietnam Nghe An factory, putting the project into operation.

Following the ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh, and other delegates toured the factory's production area, directly listening to presentations about the technological lines, management model, modern optical component production process, and future development orientation.
