CompetitionMiss Universe2020 ended on May 17 with the victory of Miss Mexico. After the final, the contestants were free and quickly returned to their home countries. However, the journey back ofKhanh Vanwill be extremely difficult because commercial flights from the US to Vietnam are very limited due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic. Not to mention, recently, Vietnam has closed international airports and entry must comply with the Government's Covid-19 prevention regulations.
According to the original plan, Khanh Van would fly back to Vietnam around May 20. However, the flight plan has now been canceled. Because everything has been postponed, the beauty and Mr. Bao Hoang - National Director of Miss Universe in Vietnam - are still staying in Florida (USA), where the contest is held.
The crew wants to prioritize Khanh Van's rest and recharge after a rather exhausting 10-day journey. After that, the two will travel to New York to take care of some personal matters. If they have the opportunity and time, they want to fly to California on the West Coast of the US before returning home. Upon returning to Vietnam, Khanh Van will be quarantined for 21 days and she will be mentally prepared to prevent the epidemic.

Before that, right after the final round, Khanh Van decided to go out to eat. She craved Vietnamese and Asian food because she had to follow the organizers' menu for many days. "I really miss my mother's food," she said.
The beauty also tried to say goodbye to her close friends: Malaysia (roommate), Canada, England, Australia... The image of the girls hugging each other before saying goodbye left many emotions for the audience, because after a difficult journey they had a beautiful friendship and many precious memories.

Miss Khanh Van left for the US to attend Miss Universe 2020 in early May.At that time, she also struggled to set foot in the US in the midst of the tense Covid-19 situation.
