Rewarding Vinh City Police for breaking case 417H, arresting 2 subjects, seizing 2 heroin cakes

(Baonghean.vn) - The police of Ha Huy Tap ward, Vinh city, discovered a suspicious subject who often carried dozens of heroin plants to sell to people in need in Vinh city.

In March 2017, to investigate and clarify the case, Ha Huy Tap Ward Police proposed to the Vinh City Police Department to establish a special project coded 417H to continue the investigation. With the experience of successfully breaking 2 drug cases, catching 2 subjects red-handed, and seizing 2 heroin cakes in early 2017, Ha Huy Tap Ward Police mobilized all officers and soldiers of the ward police to participate in the investigation and solving the case.

During the investigation, the detectives had enough documents to confirm that the drug dealer was named Lung, residing in Vinh City. He often took drugs from a subject named Ba, residing in Ky Son District, to Vinh to sell. At around 9:30 p.m. on April 20, they received information that Lung and Ba had appeared in Vinh City to buy and sell a large quantity of drugs.

Under the direct direction of Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Cuong - Deputy Chief of Vinh City Police, Head of the Special Investigation Committee, a working group of Ha Huy Tap Ward Police, coordinated with the Provincial Police Department's professional department to develop a plan to solve the case.

When discovering Lung riding a motorbike in Tan Hoa block, Ha Huy Tap ward, Vinh city, waiting for people to come and sell banned goods, and Ba riding a motorbike standing about 40m away from Lung, acting as a lookout for the subject while delivering the "goods", seeing that the opportunity had come, the Task Force decided to crack the case.At around 10 p.m. the same day, while Lung was waiting for someone to come and sell drugs, he was immediately arrested by detectives in the task force, who seized 2 heroin bricks, 1 cell phone, and 1 motorbike. At the same time, another detective team promptly appeared and arrested Ba and brought him to the Investigation Agency for clarification.

During the initial investigation, Lung revealed his full name as Tran Van Lung (born in 1976), residing in Hung Hoa commune, Vinh city. The other suspect revealed his name as Lau Ba (born in 1975), residing in Ky Son district, Nghe An.

To encourage the Task Force and officers involved in successfully solving the case, on April 26, Colonel Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, Head of the Investigation Police Agency of Nghe An Police, was present at Vinh City Police to commend and congratulate and request Vinh City Police to promptly investigate and clarify the criminal acts of the subjects in the act of buying, selling, storing and illegally transporting drugs for handling according to the law./.
