“When I have morning sickness, I get frustrated and just want to hit my husband.”
The dance sport champion shared that she is often irritable and her body is always tired.
During his trip to Las Vegas to celebrate the New Year, Phan Hien shared some photos of the couple on his personal page and hinted that his family was about to add a fourth member. In the posted photo, Khanh Thi also revealed her round belly. The couple later confirmed the good news and received many congratulations from friends and audiences.
Khanh Thi said she was 3 months pregnant and was experiencing morning sickness. "When I was pregnant with Kubi, I felt that my pregnancy was easy because I only felt nauseous for a few days, not as severe as other women. However, this second time, I was so nauseous that I was almost exhausted, my body felt like it was borrowed from someone else," the dance sport champion shared.

For over a month, Khanh Thi has been in a state of fatigue. Every time she sits in a car, she feels dizzy, and even in front of her favorite foods like butter and milk, she feels nauseous. She said: "Since I was little, I always liked to drink milk, I could drink 1-2 liters a day. But when I was morning sick, seeing milk made me want to vomit. Taking medicine for pregnant women, I also vomited. My mood was always irritable, frustrated, and I even wanted to attack my husband. Sometimes I was sentimental and cried."
The dance sport champion considers herself lucky because she always has her husband Phan Hien by her side. He is a thoughtful husband, pampering and taking care of her wholeheartedly. "Hien just stays silent every time I get angry. I torture him up and down, but he has to endure it. One day, when Hien was sleeping soundly, I woke him up to take me out for breakfast at 7am," Khanh Thi revealed. During the trip to Las Vegas, Phan Hien even took the trouble to find a fancy restaurant and order many delicious dishes for his wife to enjoy, but after finishing the meal, Khanh Thi ran to the bathroom to vomit. "I told my husband, what a waste of money," she said with a laugh.
The couple has a first son, Kubi, who is over 2 years old. |
Having a second baby was not in Khanh Thi and Phan Hien's plan this year. Previously, the couple planned to get married and then have a baby in 2019 because their ages were compatible. "I had no idea I was pregnant, and I still performed and danced regularly for the first month. When I felt tired and nauseous, I went to the doctor and found out I was pregnant. So I had to reconsider all the shows I had signed contracts for. Luckily, I had completed 2/3 of the contracts. Having a baby is really a matter of my own planning, not God's planning," Khanh Thi explained.
During the first month of pregnancy, the dance sport champion still ate very well and gained 2kg. Only when she had morning sickness, she could not eat much, but her weight did not decrease. Pregnant at the age of 36, Khanh Thi was also afraid that the fetus's health was not guaranteed, so she monitored it very carefully. She jokingly said: "My life now only revolves around the bed and the toilet."
When Khanh Thi and Phan Hien announced that they were expecting another baby, both their families were very happy. Khanh Thi's parents-in-law encouraged their daughter-in-law to spend more time resting and at the same time support her in taking care of Kubi. The couple's second baby is expected to be born at the end of July - the same month as Kubi's birthday. As for the wedding plan, both had to postpone it to prepare for welcoming the new member.
