Warehouse catches fire overnight in Vinh City.
(Baonghean.vn) - A fire broke out at a brick warehouse belonging to a company in Block 6, Quan Bau Ward (Vinh City), causing estimated damage of over 100 million VND.
At 7:30 PM on November 16th, a fire broke out at the brick warehouse of Automobile Transport Company No. 5 located in Block 6, Quan Bau Ward (Vinh City), causing panic among many people.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire originated near the warehouse entrance at the time. This area contained a large quantity of bricks wrapped in cardboard boxes, making them highly flammable and allowing the fire to spread rapidly.
Upon receiving the report, the Nghe An Provincial Police Department for Fire Prevention and Rescue directed Team No. 1 and Team No. 8 to dispatch 1 command vehicle, 3 fire trucks, 1 water tanker, and 30 officers and soldiers to the scene.

The forces quickly deployed water spraying teams to prevent the fire from spreading, mobilized the facility's crane trucks to move goods out of the burning area, and promptly controlled and extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading further. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any casualties.
Mr. Nguyen Van Giap, the warehouse owner, said: "The goods, mainly bricks, crumbled after being heated by the fire for too long. The estimated damage to my family is over 100 million VND."
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
