Warehouse caught fire at night in Vinh city
(Baonghean.vn) - A fire broke out at a brick warehouse of a company in block 6, Quan Bau ward (Vinh city), causing estimated damage of over 100 million VND.
At 7:30 p.m. on November 16, a fire broke out at the brick warehouse of Automobile Transport Company No. 5 located in Block 6, Quan Bau Ward (Vinh City), causing panic among many people.

According to witnesses, at the time, the fire started near the warehouse entrance. This is where a large amount of bricks are stored, wrapped in cardboard boxes, so it is easy to catch fire and spread very quickly.
Upon receiving the news, the Nghe An Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department directed Team 1 and Team 8 to dispatch 1 command vehicle, 3 fire trucks, 1 water truck and 30 officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene.

The force quickly deployed a water spraying team to prevent the fire from spreading, mobilized the facility's forklift to move goods out of the fire area, promptly controlled and extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties.
Mr. Nguyen Van Giap, the warehouse owner, said: "The goods were mainly bricks, which were broken after being heated for too long by the fire. The family's damage is estimated at over 100 million VND."
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
