IS weapons depot exploded under Russian airstrike
Russian aircraft accurately bombed IS militants' weapons and military vehicles in western Syria.
Syrian army released images todayarsenal and motor vehicles ofIslamic State (IS) militants were destroyed by Russian fighter jets in the western area of Homs city, according to Almasdar News.
The Russian airstrikes were in support of the Syrian government forces' offensive on the border area of Deir Ezzor, the last IS stronghold in central Syria.
The Syrian army has recently made many important strides such as clearing IS rebels from the strategic town of Al-Sukhnah, about 50 km from the ancient city of Palmyra.
The Russian Air Force continuously deployed drones for reconnaissance, identification and designation of targets such as armored vehicles, trucks and other vehicles for fighter jets to conduct airstrikes to support the Syrian army during the attack.
