Van Thanh's celebratory moment featured in a gifted student exam.

Recently, social media shared the exam paper for the 2017-2018 Literature competition for gifted students at Nguyen Hue High School, Thai Nguyen province.

Question 1 of the exam features an image of defender Van Thanh crossing his arms in celebration after successfully converting the final penalty in the semi-final match against Qatar U23, and an image of thousands of Vietnamese fans supporting their national football team at My Dinh Stadium in Hanoi.

The question posed was: "What glorious moment in our nation's history do these two photos remind you of? Write an argumentative essay expressing your profound feelings about the significance of these two photos."

Mr. Nguyen Thai Truong - Vice Principal of Nguyen Hue High School confirmed this.Zing.vnThis is the Literature exam for gifted 10th-grade students in the 2017-2018 school year, organized by the school on the afternoon of January 29th.

According to Mr. Truong, the exam questions reflect the spirit of the younger generation, bringing enthusiasm and a fresh breeze to the country and bringing people closer together. Students who are interested in recent events will do well on the exam and could achieve a perfect score of 8 points.

Teacher Truong hopes that, in addition to testing knowledge, the exam will also help students understand the historical significance of this major event on an Asian scale.

Earlier, images of Van Thanh celebrating the victory showed the resilience of the U23 Vietnam team. He stood tall, waiting for his teammates, then burst into laughter, sharing the emotions with the young players. This beautiful moment was widely shared online, becoming an inspiration for poetic works.
